I couldn't figure out why my table was getting scratches all over it. Well, you can see now how they got there. Maggie hops up on the table when we leave and looks out the front window. What does your pet do when you are gone? I'm sure they don't just lay there and sleep like you think.

That is soooo funny! Caught Red- Handed! My cocker spaniel used to do that too! One time he also single handedly jumped up on my parent's kitchen counters and scaled them(island and all)to get to some corned beef on a plate by the sink! He would also climb on ANYTHING to get up to look out a window. EVERY--literally--EVERY apt. I lived in when I had him had RUINED blinds.
My poor ladies don't even get the chance to cause damage because ZAC made me paranoid! They get to hang out in our laundry room when we are gone. They are lazy ladies though--they just sleep. Once I left the door open and they were just sleeping on my bed when I got home!
Oscar is found many of times on the kitchen counter still licking his chops from what ever he found. Dogs....
