Freaky

So don't tell me things don't happen for a reason. I made a friend with a mom whose kids were friends with my kids at school. We really hit it off. She had kids the same age as Josh, Amelia and Rachel. We would have play dates and swap out kids. We did this for a couple of years. Well, her kids changed schools 2 years ago. We were pretty good about staying in touch for the first little bit when her kids changed schools. Then, you know life gets crazy and you seemed to not make the time for these things. I actually was thinking about her the other day and thought Boy, I have really been a lame friend. I pretty much blew her off because it took a little bit of effort on my part to continue the friendship and I didn't put forth the effort. My life is just too busy. So, out of the blue I get an e-mail from her yesterday. It said " I think we are meant to get in touch with each other. Today I received a letter in my mail box for Marc. It was addressed to his office and some how it ended up here at my house". Now, don't tell me that isn't weird. So, I e-mailed her back and we are going to go to lunch on Friday. Sometimes there are just friends that are supposed to stay in your life. I think this in one of them.
