Rachel's b-day

My peanut turned 8. Somehow 8 years ago I got preggo with Rachel. Have in mind that 3 months earlier I had given birth to #3, was on the mini pill and nursing. Rachel didn't care and decided she needed to join the family. The doctor didn't think that the pregnancy was even going to stay because my HCG levels were so low. But Rachel held on and 9 months later I had 4 kids in my care. Abby 4, Josh 2, Amelia barley 1 and a newborn. Needless to say my life was a blurr. What I do know is that Rachel was 5 lbs and 3 oz and popped out. She was colic for the first couple of months. This kid didn't even like to ride in the car. Full blown screaming about 12 hours out of the 24 hour day. Starting at age 1 she would hold her breath until she passed out and turned blue. She would have a seizure to bring her back to life. The fire department and paramedics would show up every time it happened out in public. Let's see it happened at swim lessons, cost cutters, grocery store, school and home many of times. And yes I would totally freak out every time. It would happen at LEAST once a month. When she would get hurt or start to cry that would bring it on. It really sucked and that is all I can say about it. By age 5 she outgrew that crazy breath holding. Rachel was a difficult baby but is the easiest kid now. She is totally chill all of the time. Here are 8 things I love about my 8 year old:

1. She is AWESOME at gymnastics. She amazes me every time she does a trick.
2. She has the personality and looks of my sister who I think the world of. She really could be my sisters kid. They are more alike than Rachel and I. (Lucky Rachel)
3. She has a great smile.
4. She is dedicated to getting her homework done no matter how tired she is.
5. She is a great sister.
6. She knows how to cuddle really good.
7. She loves to shop.
8. She likes to keep her room picked up.
