Scrapbooking weekend

The mom's group from school had a scrapbooking weekend/b-day celebration for someone turning 40. This mom's group has been going strong for about 7 years now. (I think) Anyone is welcome to join as long as you have a kid. Your husband can be your kid if need be. We all know that the hubby can be as much work as an infant. So, we all met up Friday night at the resort where we were staying. Everyone was split up with 2 or 3 mom's to a room. In my room it was me, my sister and Brenda. So of course the welcome party took place in our room. For some reason my sister and I can get a party going. Go figure. Maybe it's the boob job we both have? All in all it was a fun weekend. Saturday we had massages, celebrated a b-day and ate dinner at the Cheesecake factory. Sunday was a day of relaxing in the morning and then to conquer my 4 mile run. I am still training for the race in January. Haven't given up yet. It is always fun to come home to a house of people who are happy to have you home. I love everyone yelling "MOM"S HOME!!!! ALRIGHT!!!!" and seeing Marc have a sign of relief come across his face. The kids were excited to see the scrapbooking pages I made for them. Too bad I forgot to scrapbook any. Oh well, next time.

That looks like so much fun. My best friend and I have been trying to do something like that for years.

Is Ann just drinking directly from that pitcher? And is that a beer in Cheryl's hand? Hee. Looks like fun!

I really enjoyed myself. I'm sorry I missed Friday's party.
